![]() ![]() Buying the console version has been such a good once off investment! The fact that it is fully voiced already makes it worth buying. I am a very impatient person, so I have spent a ridiculous amount of money on the mobile version just so I can binge the story. Edit: my Jakou no Lyla review is up, check it out! I am working on a review of this game, so watch this space. Gosh, I could go on and on! It’s one of my favourite otome games of all time. ![]() The OP and ED songs are very catchy, and it also has a beautiful love catch system. So good! I really wish this game had an R-18 version.īeyond the steam, Jakou no Lyla also has amazing background music. Another big hit for me was the love triangle ends, they had me on my knees. Also, this is one of those rare occasions (at least for Japanese otome games) where we have a dark-skinned love interest! Yay for progress – and he is hot as hell. Even in the common route! The love interests are attractive beyond belief, and they are all super h*rny. Unlike most otome games where steamy content usually happens at the end, Jakou no Lyla has steamy content throughout the route. What’s amazing about this game is not just that it’s steamy, it also has a good plot. Of course, she had to thread carefully in order to achieve her objective and not fall in love with them! In every route, Shirien is essentially sent on a mission and had to bewitch the love interests. That in itself already sold me 100 times over. The premise of this game is Arabian x sensual x love triangle. (which is weird, because the average JP citizen would view rape as an abhorrent act.Recommendation points. Besides, there's just a lot of rape in JP anime/manga culture. Me, not so much, but you couldn't have known, so it's okay. Actually, rape fantasy is not uncommon among women as far as fantasies go, so I imagine there are some players who get a real kick out of the rape scenario. However I guess it sort of worked out as it ended up mentioning titles to avoid. I remember that year as the worst in my student life because it seemed nobody around me had any empathy and acted like real jerks all the time. ![]() I didn't want to have anything to do with those guys after that. Some female students objected and stated they were horrified when they watched it. She did and then 3 male students bragged about laughing about it because it was apparently very funny. Some woman applied for a job and she would only get it if she delivered sexual services. Writing this reminds of one morning where my fellow students started talking about some documentary that was apparently on TV the night before. It's too bad because apart from the rape scenes, they actually produced some decent titles with rather unique settings. Peach Princess must have been equally weird for translating most of them. The writers at Crowd must have been weird since they produced multiple comedy titles and added rape to most of them. The series is from 2001-2006 and I can't remember when I read any of it other than "long ago". It's not a funny thing to do and if I had remembered right away, I wouldn't have mentioned X-change. *mind blown a second time* I mean, I know there is a certain bit of suspension of disbelief when it comes to games, but that's just horrifying. A comedy in which the MC gets raped? *mind blown* I can't even. ![]()
